Payroll data protection and security
Payroll means handling your employees' NRIC numbers, salaries and bank details. Here's how we protect that data under the PDPA, and how your money and government accounts stay under your control.
Or call 6970 5539, Monday to Friday.

How we protect you
Your money stays with you
We never collect or hold salary funds. Wages move straight from your bank account to your employees.
Access through Corppass
You authorise us for CPF and IRAS services on Corppass and can remove that access at any time. We never ask for your passwords.
Personal data protected
Employee data is handled under the PDPA, with a data processing agreement for every client and a named Data Protection Officer.
How we handle employee data
Under the Personal Data Protection Act, you remain responsible for your employees' personal data. We process it on your behalf, under a written agreement that sets out what we may do with it. See the Personal Data Protection Commission for the law itself.
-
What we collect
Only what payroll needs: names, NRIC or FIN numbers, dates of birth, citizenship and pass details, pay terms, hours, bank account numbers for the payment file, and CPF and tax figures.
-
What we use it for
Calculating pay, preparing payslips, the bank file and reports, and preparing CPF and IRAS submissions. Nothing else. We don't sell or share employee data.
-
Who can see it
Only the staff who prepare and check your payroll. Payslips are sent to employees as password-protected PDFs or printed for distribution.
-
How it is stored and sent
[Describe how payroll files are stored and transferred, for example the system used and access controls.]
-
How long we keep it
For as long as the service runs, and afterwards only as long as the law requires employment and tax records to be kept. MOM sets out employment record rules on its employment records page.
-
If something goes wrong
If we become aware of a data breach affecting your employees, we tell you without delay so you can meet your own obligations under the PDPA, and we help you assess and respond to it.
